Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class Suite

Business travel just got a whole lot exclusive with Virgin Atlantic’s new Upper Class Dream Suite, Adelto’s Assif Majid joins its maiden voyage to New York.

The long-haul airliner has officially unveiled its redesigned Upper Class cabin complete with new Upper Class Suite and Sky Bar. Virgin Atlantic has spent four years researching and has invested £100 million into its Upper Class Dream Suite product, which includes a futuristic new cabin, a new fine dining meal service, a new 10,000 sq ft Clubhouse at New York JKF plus an additional overseas Clubhouse that will open by the end of the year. The lightweight, carbon fiber body gives the Lucra a curb weight of less than 2,000 pounds, and with the option to choose from an AMG 6.3 liter V8, 6.3 liter LS3 or 7.0 liter LS7, you can expect north of 600 horsepower. The transmission options include your choice of a 7-speed Mercedes paddle shift or a standard Tremec TKO 5-speed. What do all of these stats amount to? Well the entry level setup will get you a zero to sixty time of around 2.7 seconds, a 10.1 second 1/4 mile, and a top speed upwards of 200 mph. The vehicle has also been equipped with a set of Willwood brakes for precision stopping power, and a fully adjustable suspension for optimum handling. Concept 1865 Electric Bike by Ding3000

While electric bike concepts have become quite popular, we have yet to see anything quite like this. Teaming up with BASF, the German designers at Ding3000 created this beauty. The electric bike has been outfitted with a 250W hub motor that not only assists the rider, but also illuminates the LED lights built  into the frame (great for night time riding). The battery pack is built right into the seat, so when you park it, simply remove the seat to prevent thefts from riding away on your 2 wheeled companion. This also makes for easy charging. The bike itself is made from ultra lightweight carbon fiber along with a high tech compound constructed seat and tires that create a smooth ride for the user.  Read More

Off-Road Electric Vehicle Named Der Ziesel

Packed with 21 horsepower and 30 lb-ft of torque, the two permanent magnet synchronous motors pump power to the tracks, helping this 460 pound machine tear through the powder at speeds of up 22 miles per hour. Google Tests Balloons to Beam Internet from Near Space
